Went to the LA zoo with someone very special today on a drawing/painting trip. Had alot of fun.
Painted this because everywhere else was too damn crowded! About an hour or so... That's one thing I dont like about things lately- its so crowded. Last time I went it was not crowded at all.

there were some really cute kids playing in the middle, but I was too lazy to draw them in.

I really like the lighting and colors :) How do you work outside? Are you using a tabletpc or do you take your Wacom tablet with you? I just got my new tabletpc a few weeks aago, but it's pretty hard to work outside with it because of the high screen reflection.

well i had to choose a shaded place. and i got the new macbook pros and they're pretty bright. I also have a matte screen so that reduces reflections a whole lot. So... a wacom tablet and my laptop, on a bench. pretty awkward sitting down with it, and always in fear that a sudden movement will throw your laptop to the floor, but overall you get good experience.
